Today we had an unfortunate incident which resulted in us finding this dealership. Our trailer got damaged at a gas pump nearby and beings we are out of province on a family vacation, we were devastated by the thought our road trip might be over! We arrived at the dealership and explained the situation. Right away a technician was able to look at the damage and offered to do an emergency repair. The dealership was short staffed due to holidays but in order to get us back on the road, they jumped right to action and had us all fixed up and back on the road in under 30 minutes. Everyone was so kind to us (my tears and kids’ sad faces I’m sure earned us some sympathy), but in all honesty, this dealership and their knowledge and willingness to help complete strangers stopping by their dealership helped us salvage our trip! Thank you so much!

We live 4 hours away and the service department fit us in on short notice since we were passing through and provided excellent service.

We purchased a trailer with Leisure Days last year. We went back to discuss an issue with the trailer that had nothing to do with them. They were so courteous and helped us solve the problem. They are wonderful!

I am not a customer, YET. But I would like to write this review expressing how much I appreciate a salesperson by the name of Rodney. I called to see if this dealership sells a certain brand because I was having trouble with my current travel trailer. Thank goodness Rodney picked up the phone. I asked if they sold my type of trailer, and Leisure Days does not. However, Rodney took the time to listen to my concern and gave some advice as to how I could fix my problem. This is what makes a huge impression on people. When people like Rodney go the extra mile and help people like me, who isn't even a customer (again,YET). It was a great experience. They worked with the insurance company. It took a while to get everything organized but we weren't camping in the winter.The service manager was awesome. He did a lot of work for us to get the support of the insurance company for us.. He was very honest. It was a busy time with floods and wild fires. Now to get camping.We even bought some things to help my husband as he has trouble with his legs.

We bought our very first camper from Leasure Days this year and from the beginning the process was so easy. A huge shout out to Ahmad and Barry for guiding us through everything from the financing right to the day we picked up the camper. We feel so comfortable with everything and the camper is exactly what we were looking for. We highly recommend going and seeing them if you are looking for your first camper. Well...I must say I had an awesome experience. I was only interested in buying a trailer from kijiji as I always have. However I found a Jayco trailer I really liked at Leisure Days in Truro. I worked with Rodney who took time off to meet me and was very helpful in getting me the deal I needed and also responded very quickly with all the questions along the way. Dave in service ran me through everything and made sure the trailer was squared away once I arrived and even hooked up the Dist Hitch for me. John in finance made everything seamless with paperwork and even got me financed with the bank I wanted! On the way out Rhonda gave me some good advice on a cleaner and a Rhino sewer drain. Got the trailer home and gave it another one over. Fresh PDI, MVI, battery, starter kit and propane tanks. Best experience buying a new or second vehicle so far. Appreciate it Leisure Days in Truro. Update: 25th April 2024: I wish I would leave a second review because I had another great experience with Leisure Days in Truro. My RV had been damaged in the hurricane and so were so many other RVs. Leisure Days Truro had been swamped with work but Dave the service manager made sure my parts were ordered and received and eventually got me in. Chris and Dave ran me through the repairs that were completed and even went above and beyond what was notably damaged , fixing a few other small items for me. The work completed was excellent and my Jayco is all back in great order! Rhonda in parts is always lovely to deal with and gave me some good information while I was there picking up the Jayco. My Sons even got to meet her puppies!! Again, a great experience and I will always go back to this location.

We were have problems with our trailer signal lights while we were passing through the province. It was a Friday afternoon the service department was busy. The manager of the service department made time for us and helped us figure out what was going on with the connection with the trailer. He was very friendly and fast. Thank you for your help.

We had an excellent experience with Leisure Days truro! Chris the shop foreman was FAB. Very thorough, helpful, and kind. We felt in excellent hands when he was going over our demo and was very knowledgeable about our trailer (and all trailers in general!). He made sure we felt comfortable with the operations of our trailer and assisted us in setting up everything we needed to get on the road. Our finance contact Ahmed was kind, knowledgeable and helpful as well. He was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we weren’t put out, and updated us as necessary. This year, within 5 months I bought not one but two trailers from Karan. He is absoultely amazing and did what ever he could to make the deal work. Ahmed, in finance was amazing trying to find the best rates possible in this troubling market. The first trailer had some issues which took some time to repair but Jared the on site tech was top notch and found things I didn't even realize were broke. We won't take ownership of our new (much larger) unit until the Spring but I expect that whatever happens (I'm sure there will be something lol), will be addressed promptly. Matt, whom I've never met in person was very responsive to email. I would highly recommend these guys for your next RV purchase, I hear they have a slightly used 2022 Cherokee 28DT coming soon! ;)

I drove in without an appointment on my trip to Nova Scotia from Montreal. My hot water tank wasn’t working. It was working it was my fault as Chris Priest showed me how to use it. He went out of hie way to help me and to show us all the other things that I was doing wrong. I spent over an hour with him learning how to do different things with my trailer which nobody had ever showed me before. I was so impressed with the time he took with me and to my surprise when I asked him how much do I owe you…he said nothing… have a great rest of your trip in Nova Scotia. Wow now this is what I call good service. Thanks Chris for all your information and tricks that have helped me. Again unbelievable service!

Every once in awhile you experience outstanding customer service that sets the bar for others to strive to achieve! My wife Kathy and I are on 4 week RV adventure through Nova Scotia, NL and PEI. All was going well in our rig when after a couple of nights of dry camping we started to experience problems with our house batteries. Tried a bunch of suggestions but were at our wits end. There were no RV dealers open on the weekend so we figured we would get up early today and call around. Before doing so we checked out their reviews. Many were questionable, but we saw Leisure Day RV had a recent review from a fellow US traveler who spoke about this amazing service experience he had just had with them. Between that and the since we got from their website we decided to contact them first. From the moment we first texting (office wasn’t open yet) to the call to David and then our subsequent visit later in the morning we felt like we were family! They listened and provided helpful diagnosis over the phone and later both David and Chris assisted in diagnosing the issue and resolving it. If you have any RV needs this is the place you want to take your business. David and Rhonda and their team are both professionally and personally top notch folks! Come here with confidence! We recently bought a used pop-up camper (spring 23) and found the sales people to be friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable. We had a few issues with the camper and the customer service was amazing. Everytime we went back they were responsive, welcoming and helpful. Would definately buy there again.

I’m not a guy for writing reviews But My experience with leisure days has to be written. I broke down on the side of the road people stopped and helped me get it to the point where I could make it to the campground. Then LEISURE DAYS comes in where I met Dave from LEISURE DAYS he took some pictures and said it would be no problem come Tuesday (Monday was a holiday) he called me before the store opened and setup for me to have the tires installed bye noon. This NEVER HAPPENS IN THE STATES!!!!!!! Your country is wonderful and it has been a great pleasure visiting it !! Thanks again DAVE &Leisure World!!!

I had a great experience with Leisure Days RV while trying to diagnose a Hydraulic issue with my jacks and slides Hydraulic system for my 5th wheel while traveling around Nova Scotia. I contacted them, and even though they were booking 3 weeks out, they squeezed us it over lunch to see if they could help, and get us back on the road. Dave and Steve were quick and knowledgeable and discovered right away that 2 of the 50 amp breakers were blown. News parts were in stock, and install quickly. They tested all Hydraulics and everything was operating correctly. They saved my vacation since manally operating the Hydraulic pump with a drill was putting a damper on our relaxing time. Leisure Days RV will be my new home for any repairs or service I need. Thanks guys

Just bought a new RV at the Halifax RV show and Karan was our salesperson. He was fantastic! We were also impressed with the Business Manager, Ahmed. Great experience overall. July 13 - Came here to write a good review and noticed I already wrote one five months ago! Lol! We came for service and Chris was absolutely exceptional. He went above and beyond today and also when we came to pick up our RV. Completely blown away by the employees here and their dedication.

No amount of words can express our thanks! We are travelling in Nova Scotia with our travel trailer. Of course, something has to go wrong early on our trip. Our trailer is equipped with the Truma combi which has a connection with a control panel. Such system is super efficient, quiet and we have been impressed with it. Early on, the room temperature sensor that connects to this system, its connection cables likely fell off from the vibration of the trip. It then fell into the wall where the only way to get it, is to open up the wall. We tried to pull through but such sensor failure prevents our system to produce hot water. To any campers out there, one would know the inconvenience this entails, let along this is early into our month long trip. We tried our luck to drive into a nearby RV center. After explaining the issue, Dave immediately came out to examine the issue. With no time waste, he started helping us to open up the wall, extremely efficiently and causing minimal damage, identified the loose culprit cable. The cable has two adapters; one was loose even if you tried to plug it to the sensor. While the other adapter worked well, he switched out both adapters to be on the safe side. After all was correctly connected back, he added with extra taping to prevent further falling. All wall copings were placed and glued back, as if nothing happened. The Truma system resolved its error and all were good as new. Such great workmanship! During the busiest time of the camping season, we know sometimes it takes months to book a service appointment. Dave was able to help us to resolve a pickle that would have put a dent to our family trip. We couldn’t be more thankful and know that if this is how they take care of a passing RV-er, their customers would be well treated! Thank you Leisure Days and many sincere thanks, Dave! Review Update. Of course, hitting the world famous Cabot Trail was too much for our Ember trailer’s tongue jack. It is one of those latest Lippert tongue jack, and it decided to give up when we arrived at Inverness. To those camper owners that has an automatic tongue jack, we all know that this could make ourselves stranded by not able to pin up our trailer. By using a bottle jack and few planks of wood, we managed to do so. Of course, we returned to Leisure Days to see if there is any way we could fix it. Both Dave and Devon were sharing their wisdom to help us, another fellow campers who are stuck on the road. It is not fully fixed due to its complexities but we would not need to cancel the rest of the family trip. Once again, if today I could choose any RV center for any future business, I would without a doubt choose them. I just wished that we live closer to them. Like another review here mentioned, the Service Department truly makes it breaks a customer’s trust to the business. Thank you Leisure Days for lending your helping hand!

We called dealership to request a check on our hitch due to the excessive swaying. Took us in right away and they installed an upgraded hitch on our RV while there. No appointment needed. Very impressed with the ease of service. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Good to see in such a big industry. Thankyou to Cris and Devon for their service. On a Friday afternoon On our way to a planned trip to Newfoundland we had a mishap where the kitchen window got broken. We called & they told us to bring it in right away The Leisure Day team went above and beyond temporarily fixing the window so we could continue on our trip. They stayed after closing hours till the job was done. Ordered the replacement parts so we would have them when we returned from our trip. Professional, experienced, and caring would be the words I would use to describe the Leisure Day Team.

Went looking at campers told salesperson Rodney what we were looking for and he narrowed our search. He listened to what we said and only showed us what was of interest to us, great customer service. Hopefully we can review again with the purchase of a new camper

We recently had a problem with our microwave in our trailer. We called Leisure Days and they sent their technician Austin to look after the issue. Austin looked after the microwave and as I am relatively new to camping with a trailer I took the opportunity to ask some additional questions as to how a number of the features on the trailer worked, as I hadn't used them yet. Austin took the time to go over all the equipment I asked about, and left me feeling confident I can use them going forward. Awesome job!!!!!

We are here from NB visiting the Halifax Exhibition. We got a new Jayco trailer in June and were having a couple little issues. We called and asked if we could have a service guy out to check it out. The girl who answered took our information and had Austin call us the same day. He then came right out to help us. The same day!!!! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He knew as soon as we started telling him our problem exactly what was going on and fixed us up and we are good as new. Exceptional service all around. 5⭐️ For AUSTIN

As soon as we arrived, your guys came right out & had it fixed in short order, to get us back on our road trip with peace of mind. This level of excellent customer experience is rare .. above and beyond what we could have expected so late in the day.

During our travels the tongue jack broke on our trailer. After having no assistance from our own dealer, we got in touch with Leisure Days in Truro. While passing through, to the second portion of our road trip, we were able to stop at Leisure Days on short notice and they happily fit us into their busy schedule and they installed a new jack for us. They even fixed a hatch lock for us and also replaced the hot water heater cover/door. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rhonda was very helpful and great customer service, Chris worked tirelessly putting in the new jack and took the time to show us how to probably use the jack and how to refit our hitch. Dave the service manager coordinated everything for us and made sure to fit us and and that we got everything we needed. Also one of the team members brought cold water out for our dog and talked with our children all about hockey and keeping them entertained. The kids actually said when we left that he was the friendliest guy they ever met. Thank you all so much for making our travels a success this summer!

We bought our first travel trailer last year. I started the process researching different makes and models, warranty ,build quality and following a number of first time buyer guides. It honestly seemed no matter the make or cost they are all pretty much the same. What ended up being my priority was no longer solely the make but more so who I purchased it from. I won't list the dealers I visited around the province, but I will say this, we wouldn't have settled had we not made the trip out to Leisure Days Truro. I honestly have never experienced better service in any aspect of life. Barry in sales was incredible, very knowledgeable, helpful and we settled with him our first trip out. After the purchase , being a first time buyer I had some issues and made some mistakes . Dave in service is on another level. The man has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. From day one he's helped us along, sorted out any little manufacturer default , de winterized and winterized the camper.. even took the time to discuss the start up process for some utilities when I was having issues at the camp site. I almost forgot about their mobile support unit, they came out to my house for winterizing and even stopped in on our first trip out to make sure things went well( thanks Austin). So yeah, a bit of a lengthy review but I got to give credit where it's due. you're making a mistake if you don't drop by Leisure Days Truro for you Camping needs. Cheers.

We recently purchased our second trailer from Matt at Leisure Days, our SECOND. That’s how amazing of a job they do. You’re comfortable enough to go back again and again as your camping needs change. We can’t rave about everyone there enough, from the great service department who is always attentive and responsive, to the sales staff who really make sure you’re leaving with exactly what you wanted. We really appreciate having a dealership like this in Nova Scotia. Thank you so much!

This post is regarding service CRC RV, service techs deserve 5 stars, all 3 different technicians that have worked on my Jayco trailer have completed work to satisfaction. However is is hard to get the work scheduled.If you need warranty work done, keep on calling or you will be waiting even longer. Service department is recently under new management.Hopefully this will bring improvements.I will say the new service management is better to work with. Hoping to change this rating to a 5 star in the future.

Have had issues with my trailer but Ashley at the service counter and Austin in the field have made a real effort to fix things.

How does one really put in words what a great experience they had not once, not twice but three times….the very first call delt with Rhonda who was polite, professional, knowledgable and genuinely cared in helping… she went out of her way and more to help us in a pinch when no one else would….We cant thank her and the team enough for the continuous superb service!! If you’re shopping for an RV, this is your dealership! We bought our 5th wheel here in August 2020, and are ver happy with the team at Leisure Days (Truro). Yes over the past year we’ve had some issues with the trailer, all of which have been rectified beyond our expectations. Over the past 2 years we have dealt with RV dealerships, literally coast to coast. First year shopping for the RV and the second traveling from Nova Scotia to B.C. and back. And I can tell you customer service sets Leisure Days (Truro) in the highest quality, exceeding our expectations and setting a new standard of customer service that other dealerships will have to step up their game or get out of the business. This dealership has assembled what can only be fairly described as the “Dream Team”. Barry our sales rep, was accommodating, knowledgeable and made the shopping experience exciting and fun! Matt spent countless amounts of time making sure all concerns were dealt with and certainly rectified! Then comes the service department. Rhonda in parts is amazing, Knowledgeable and if she can’t find and source a part it probably doesn’t exist, Brad the service technician who did amazing work on or RV deserves a raise! And then there’s Dave, there is not many like him left in the customer service world. I think between my wife and myself we must have drove this poor man crazy. Dave has been the glue that brought the whole experience into a cohesive end result that will keep us coming back to Leisure Days for years to come! We are extremely happy with the team in Truro and want to say Thank You to everyone at dealership for being amazing!!!!

Been Meaning to write a review. Today is the day. Hats off to Leisure Days RV. We have dealt with several RV sales retailers in the past with buying other campers we have bought. Customer service was dreadful. Leisure days has been so true to their word. The service department goes above and beyond to help you. When we are looking for are next Camper we will be returning. We love are 5th wheel. Thanks for great service. I would give you guys 5 BIG STARS!( This is are 2nd year with the 5the wheel)

Hello I felt with Rhonda and she was fantastic! Let me tell you about what sets her apart from the competition, I called every RV dealer in Truro and only two of them were able to source the canopy I need it for my RV. Rhonda was able to find one I need it and give me a price and guarantee me when it would be available all well on the phone with her during my initial call all other dealers had to take my number and call me back. I got the best price and the best service with the fastest turnaround time and could not be happier with my experience!

I dropped my trailer off on a Sunday without an appointment knowing how busy they were and they could take weeks to look at it. I received a call on the following Friday and they had completed all the service work I needed and they also made time to install a new vent cover which was extra on my list. The staff there are always so helpful and very friendly. Even though I didn't buy my trailer from them, I was treated as if i did. In the past other trailer dealers seem to treat me as a lower priority when it came to service. This level of service has convinced me to buy our next trailer from them. I would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks Leisure Days!!
